FOR FAMILIES - Attention Families of Kindergarten-5th grade Youth
Please join us for our first ever Family Youth Ministry Event Sunday afternoon. We will have a fun social and snack time followed by our reading, reflection and discussion on this Sunday’s reading. Then we will be making a Family Prayer Candle. We will close with a Family Candle Ceremony and prayer and be done by 4:45. All older and younger siblings are welcome as this is a family event!

Midweek Family Fuel is a weekly opportunity for families to get together and enjoy dinner here at St. Catherine’s and programs and activities for the entire family afterwards. Meals start at 5:45 pm and programs start at 6:30 pm starting in September and ending in April. Contact Nicky Aiello at 978-2331 or naiello@stcatherinesiena.org if you are interested in volunteering or if you have any questions.
Programs include playgroup for children over 3, the EDGE for middle school aged children, adult book group, nursery and more. No RSVP is needed so join us when you can!
The Nursery The Nursery is a co-op and parents are expected to volunteer every month. The nursery is open during Sunday morning at the 9 am and 11 am Masses from for children walking through age 4. All parents volunteering in the nursery need to have the Protecting God’s Children training and a background check.
The nursery is also used at many times throughout the week and volunteers are always needed. Other shifts that are always in need of help are:
Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:45pm during our Midweek Family Fuel Activity time
Thursday mornings from 9:30-11:30am during our Women’s Book Study, Awakenings
Every other Friday morning from 9:30-11am during the FAMILIA study for mothers of young children
Once a week during daily mass from 9am-10am

AWAKENING is for women of all ages and daycare is provided. The goal of this program is to help women create an awareness of the inner sacred self, while at the same time learning new ways to inspire, encourage, and affirm each other. Women have the opportunity to clarify their values, claim their own giftedness, bringing these new strengths to their family relationships and to the parish community. There will be special fellowship time every session so come out and spend some time with other women from the parish, bring a friend!
