Small Christian Communities (SCCs) - Some of these groups are focused on the liturgical seasons of Advent and Lent, while others continue throughout the year taking pathways desired by their memberships.

Welcome Committee contacts each newly registered member by phone and home visits. Also provides a welcome packet obtained from the church office. This ministry recognizes new members and helps them feel welcomed in our church community. Contact Joan Townsend at 323-8081.
Greeters- A greeter is an outgoing and well informed individual who is welcoming current and new members of the parish before each weekend Mass. This ministry is open to all, 18 years or older, with the exception of the Life Teen Mass. Contact Jan Devine at 323-1294.
Knights of Columbus Council #6980 The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic Men’s Fraternal Organization. The key principles are Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism. Worldwide there are approximately 1.8 million members and there are over 15,000 councils. As is true of other Knights of Columbus councils, our council [St. Catherine of Siena Council #6980] has activities in six different areas: Church, Community, Council, Family, Pro-Life, and Youth. The Servants of the Lord Group is a charismatic prayer group that meets each Thursday night at St. Catherine’s. The Rosary begins at 7pm. Praise and worship from 7-9 pm. Anyone feeling the need of prayer joins us and we will pray with you and for you. Contact Julie MacArthur at 375-9261.

Mary Garden In 1993, through the initiative of Fr. Thomas Stanley, the Mary Garden was established here at St. Catherine of Siena Church. A specially crafted bronze “Mary, Model of the Church” statue was installed in 1986, dedicated and liturgically blessed that summer by the Most Rev. Alfred Markiewicz, Bishop of the Kalamazoo Diocese. Since the church addition in 2006, an extension of the garden has been added along with seating areas and a small pond where you can reflect and pray.
Funeral Luncheon Group – Luncheons are provided at no cost to the families of the deceased members of the parish. Volunteers are asked to provide a side dish to accompany the main portion of the meal. If you are interested in donating food please contact Pat Pula at 324-0311
Euchre Group – Meet every third Monday in the Siena Conference room on the lower level. This is a parish social opportunity which is open to everyone. Bring a snack to share and a non alcoholic beverage. For more information contact Kelley Kocher at 329-2408
Golf Leagues – Monday evening couples league meet at Pineview Golf Course. If you are interested in joining please call Bob Hamman 269-353-8447. Wednesday evening men’s league also plays at Pineview call Bob Klein at 327-0005
Coffee and Donuts - Come and enjoy fellowship with people of the parish after the 7:30, 9 and 11 am masses. Donuts, bagels, coffee, juice and hot chocolate are being served! We are always looking for volunteers to help prepare, set up and clean up. Join a donut team by contacting Deb Lins at 324-9536
Brick Project – Gathered around the fountain near the front door of St. Catherine of Siena Church are several engraved bricks. These bricks are a way to celebrate a special occasion perhaps a Baptism, First Communion, Anniversary, Wedding, or a Memorial of a deceased family member. Each brick consist of 3 lines each with 15 characters per line including spaces. The cost is $250.00 per brick a payment plan is available. Pick up an order form in the front office or at the Fellowship table in Marian Hall. Orders are placed in the spring and again in the fall.
Parish Social Events include Parish Picnic, Spring Breakfast and Ice Cream Social
