Have you heard about Peace House?

 Peace House is a community of four adults and three children located in the Eastside neighborhood of Kalamazoo.  Peace House is part of the Catholic Worker movement, which is an ecumenical decentralized network of communities committed to nonviolence, simple living and serving marginalized people in our society.

 The Kalamazoo Peace House is currently remodeling two houses to provide space for tutoring, after-school, mentoring and conflict resolution programs for school-age kids in the Eastside neighborhood. An outdoor play area will provide a safe, supervised space for kids to play. An outdoor play area will provide a safe, supervised space for kids to play.

 Molly and Jerry Berrigan will visit us in the near future to tell us more about how we can be helpful in participating in the Catholic Worker. Until then this is how you can obtain get the answers to your questions.
