Mary Garden

In 1993, through the initiative of Fr. Thomas Stanley, the Mary Garden was established here at St. Catherine of Siena. A specially crafted bronze “Mary, Model of the Church” statue was installed in 1986, dedicated and liturgically blessed that summer by the Most Rev. Alfred Markiewicz, Bishop of the Kalamazoo Diocese. Since the church addition in 2006 an extension of the garden has been added along with seating areas where you can reflect and pray.
