St. Catherine’s Migrant Ministry reaches  out to the migrants who work in fields and orchards in our area. Our ministry is to welcome the workers to our community and help with some of their everyday needs. Providing some basic necessities to our visiting farm workers is one way that we can show appreciation for all the hard work that they do to bring fresh fruit and produce to our tables.

This June we are doing a collection at St. Catherine Siena. Items can be brought to the table in the Narthex that will be set up in June 2024. Bring the following items throughout the month to donate to the migrants: 

• Male Long sleeve shirts sized: Medium and Large, (Small is okay too)  
• Male Blue jeans sized: 30x30, 32x30 (more of this size), 32x32, 34x32
• Personal hygiene items: toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, shampoo, body wash or bar of soap
•  Food: rice, pinto beans, cooking oil, salt, sugar, oatmeal, Maruchan ramen noodles, cookies, corn and flower tortillas, hot sauce, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise
• Cleaning products: dish soap, sponges, Clorox, laundry soap
•  Toilet paper, paper towels
